It’s no secret that we’re pretty big fans of just about anything ‘pop-up’ and when it combines some of our fave pop culture icons (as well as a sneaky bevvie or two) – we are all over it! Whether your idea of a great night out involves ‘cooking’ cocktails in a totally rad RV, downing chimichangas and badass supervillain-themed drinks, or simply grabbing a couple of mates and getting busy constructing building block masterpieces – (which is totes acceptable FYI), we’ve got just the place for you!

Saved By The Max

Open until Sep 2019

Premiering in Chicago last year, the uber-cool ‘Saved by the Bell’ pop-up has finally made its way to the City of Angels, so dust off the ol’ bomber jacket, pop on a scrunchie and deck yourself out in anything neon, because Saved by the Max is here! Throwing it back to the days of the Bayside preppies and delivering all kinds of retro revival feels, the diner is an exact recreation of the cafe featured in the original television series, complete with mini jukeboxes, arcade games, school lockers and totally delicious fare that you don’t have to be a die-hard fan to appreciate. Relive your school days in Mr. Belding's office, take a selfie with your fave (cardboard) cast member and if you’re lucky, meet Ed Alonzo (the guy who played Max), who has been known to pop in from time to time!

ABQ Manchester

Open now

Whilst the world lost its collective mind when Breaking Bad first graced our screens all those years ago, this Breaking Bad-themed pop-up bar has us pretty damn excited. Don a pair of goggles and a hazmat suit, and put your Walter White ‘cooking’ skills to the test in the famous RV laboratory, because #science. You can leave the chemistry degree at home though, because the only requirements include a healthy taste for delicious cocktails, as you spend the evening mixing and infusing your very own boozy concoctions. After a mostly sold-out two year stint in London, Paris and New York, bookings are filling up fast for the Manchester leg, so reserve a spot, suit up and get mixing STAT!

Sister Margaret’s School For Wayward Girls

Open 10th - 12th May 2018

Deviants, degenerates and deadpool fans, in celebration of the release of Deadpool 2, your favourite anti-hero just got his very own dedicated pop-up bar and it’s set to be a whole lot of super villain fun. Based out of The Slipper Clutch in Downtown L.A., Wade Wilson’s (AKA Deadpool) favourite bar, Sister Margaret’s School for Wayward Girls is only open for a short time, so superhero speed will be required to get in on a piece of the action. Overflowing with chimichangas and Deadpool-themed drinks, as well as free temporary tatts, plenty of badass photo-ops and even bikers-for-rent (if you dare!), it’s a pop-up not to be missed!

The Bricks Bar

Coming Autumn 2018

Calling all kidults, a pop-up bar made entirely of Lego-style building blocks - 1 million of them to be exact - is set to hit Sydney, Melbourne, Perth and Brisbane, giving you the perfect excuse to round up some mates and let your inner child run wild. As well as featuring some awesome sculptures, the adult playground will have an abundance of building blocks to get creative with, ice cold beer and cocktails, as well as a DJ pumping out live tunes all day. Whilst they’re keeping a pretty tight lid on the finer deets, it has been confirmed that it’s a first in, best dressed sitch when it comes to getting your hot little hands on tickets, so we recommend popping your name on the pre-sale list here or risk missing out - cue tantrum!
