To celebrate the 25th Anniversary of The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert, Excite Holidays and Tourism NT took 40 key agents on a colourful journey of Australia’s breathtaking Northern Territory, Priscilla style!

Held at the Queensland Museum on Wednesday 16th January, the event was nothing short of fabulous with plenty of glitz, glamour, sequins and stilettos to really bring the desert queen spirit to life!

The evening kicked-off in style with agents walking the hot pink carpet past a giant, 3 metre glitter stiletto before continuing up the pink lit stairs to the bedazzled terrace balcony where a signature NT sunrise cocktail awaited. They were then treated to a delicious selection of NT inspired canapés, showcasing local flavours and fusions, whilst Ashley Ruska from the Nunukul Yuggera Aboriginal Dance Company performed a special welcome to country, followed by a show-stopping drag performance by Brisbane’s best Queens, Vollie LaVonte, Solar Flair and Miss Poodle!

Agents also got to unleash their inner-fabulousness with makeup artists Solar Flair and Miss Poodle giving everyone their very own Priscilla look, including Excite Holidays Chief Marketing Officer, Vanessa Richards, Partnerships Manager Meagan Loane and QLD Business Development Manager Sue Watts, who were all dressed to impress.

Gabrielle Deacon and Monika Tonkin from Tourism NT were also in attendance, presenting a fun and engaging video on the inspiring destination, before hosting a round of Bingo Dingo where one lucky agent won a spot on their annual mega famil and workshop event, NT Round Up.

A ton of fun was had by all and it certainly was a dazzling night to remember!
